MEET AMY




Hi, I’m Amy Shew, welcome to the virtual home of Amy.S Fitness.
I’ve been a personal trainer for a number of years, and the Covid lockdowns have really taught me how important regular fitness is for our health and wellbeing. Whether it is the daily lockdown walk or the improvised home workouts on Zoom, the one consistent point is that we all need to move more so we can live more and be more.
Looking back it seems natural that I ended up a personal trainer. With sports-mad parents I was holding a racket and playing all the school sports that were on offer - I still love a game of tennis and if the weather is right, will even throw that into your workout for a treat.
I’ve been a personal trainer since I graduated from the NZ Institute of Health & Fitness in 2017. Since then I’ve helped clients with a variety of goals - everything from weight loss; strength training; injury recovery, and maintaining fitness for wellbeing and general health.
My home gym set up provides clients with a private setting to work out on their own, or as a small group.
THE GYM
The gym is set up with a variety of equipment to help you with your workouts. From the traditional treadmill, rower, free weights and skipping ropes, to a Stairmaster, assault bike, slam balls and CrossFit jump boxes.
